THE PROBLEM
Sound Familiar?
Five things every renter who trains at home knows by heart — and the pull-ups they keep you from doing.
Your Doorframe Is Already Gouged
Pressure-fit bars wedge into the trim and tear it up. The damage shows up the day you take the bar down.
You Rent. You Can't Drill Holes
Wall-mounted bars need screws. Landlords say no. So you skip the workout or drive to the gym.
There's No Room For Real Equipment
A power rack isn't happening. Every “compact” bar still takes over the room and makes your apartment a half-gym.
Every Trip Wipes Out Your Training
Hotel gyms are a joke. You go from 4x a week to zero and come back weaker than you left.
Fixed Grips Kill Your Shoulders
Welded handles put your shoulders in positions they hate. You grin through it or skip neutral grip entirely.
INTRODUCING THE GRIP THAT FIXES ALL OF IT
Meet CrossGrips.
Two Grips. Not A Bar.
Every doorway pull-up bar on the market is the same: one long metal pipe that wedges into your trim or hooks across the top of your door. One bar. One bad assumption.
CrossGrips are two separate L-shaped steel grips that hook OVER your molding. Rubberized feet. Patented spring clamp that locks tighter the harder you pull.
You place them at your shoulder width. Your head fits between them. Wide grip, narrow grip, neutral grip — every angle, one doorway.
The whole category was built on the idea that a pull-up bar has to be a bar. We fixed it.

THE CROSSGRIPS DIFFERENCE
Five Things The Other Doorway Bars Won't Do.
Every feature exists to fix a specific complaint the rest of the category never bothered to solve.
Hook-Over Design
Pulls down. Doesn't wedge sideways.
Two L-shaped steel grips hook OVER your molding. Rubberized feet sit on top. Patented spring clamp tightens under load — never grinds your trim.
→ Zero damage. Zero permission. Zero risk to your deposit.
Every Pull-Up Variation
Wide. Narrow. Neutral. Any width.
Fixed-width bars give you one grip. CrossGrips give you the whole back day — wide-grip pull-ups, chin-ups, neutral pulls, dead hangs, scapular pulls, L-sits.
→ Best paired with shoulders that don't like fixed handles.
15-Second Setup
No tools. No drilling. No assembly.
Pull the spring-loaded legs apart. Place over the door. Ease them back. Done. Teardown in 5 seconds. The gym is open before your playlist starts.
→ The most-used piece of gear you'll never put together.
Fits In A Backpack
Each grip weighs 1.9 lbs.
Folds flat into a 3×7″ cube, smaller than most hardcover books. Hotels. Airbnbs. Carry-ons. Your gym goes anywhere your trip does.
→ Best paired with the airport on a Monday morning.
Rated To 250 lbs
Built like real equipment.
Powder-coated heavy-duty steel. Internal spring clamp locks under load. No wobble. No creak. No “I hope this holds” energy. 2-year warranty.
→ Drop-tested. Patented. Backed for two full years.
REAL CUSTOMERS. REAL DOORWAYS.
Thousands of Doors. Zero Damage.

FAQ
Still Got Questions? We've Got You.
The most common questions from people right before they hit "add to cart."
WILL IT WORK FOR ME?
Yes — in almost every case. CrossGrips hook over any standard interior doorway with a top molding at least 1″ deep. That covers virtually every apartment, hotel, Airbnb, and home built in the last fifty years.
They do NOT work on: doorways with no top trim (open archways), trim shallower than 1″, or pocket / sliding doors. If you're unsure, take 10 seconds with a tape measure on the top of your doorframe — if you see molding, you're good.
Yes — that's the whole point. Because CrossGrips are two separate grips you place at your shoulder width, there's nothing crossing over your head. Tall users (6'2"+) routinely call it the first pull-up bar they don't have to duck under. You set the gap; your head goes between the grips, not under a bar.
WILL IT HOLD UP?
No — the geometry won't let them. The patented internal spring clamp tightens harder under load. You pull down, the clamp grips harder. It's the opposite of a pressure-fit bar, which slips precisely BECAUSE you're loading it. Every pair is drop-tested under real load before it ships, backed by a 2-year warranty.
CrossGrips are over-engineered on purpose. Heavy-duty powder-coated steel. Patented internal spring clamp. Every pair drop-tested, fortified, and built for daily use in real doorways. If anything fails within 2 years, we replace it free.
WHAT IF I DON'T LOVE IT?
Send them back within 30 days for a full refund. No questions, no restocking fee, no fine print. If they don't give you back the pull-up gym your apartment hasn't had, we don't want your money.
Free shipping on all US orders. Most orders ship within 1–2 business days and arrive in 3–5 business days after that. You'll get a tracking number the moment it leaves the warehouse.

Same grips in every option. The only question is how much you want to do with them.
I've had these pullup grips 1 week now and I'm loving them. I put them in my master bathroom doorway and I'm averaging 10 to 20 additional reps per day just because of the convenience. So easy to knockout a set a few times a day. They feel really stable and no damage to wall or door frame so far.
The description says if it’s door jams 4 1/2 to 7 1/2 inches wide however there is no way to expand the width so it definitely does not fit mine. I have pictures as well.
I am a 74 year old male who lives in a duplex. Though spacious, space must still be used effectively and efficiently. So already having a nice range of Cap dumbbells, and wanting a straight bar, but not enough room to add plates and a rack. Then I saw the Jayflex Hyperbell bar, I knew it would meet my workout needs perfectly, and I was right. It is the best thing since sliced bread. The sturdy construction, simple disassembly, ease of attaching dumbbells, and safe. I use a lot of dumbbell exercises, due to the stabilizing muscles they develop.
The Hyperbell Bar is worth every penny. ☆☆☆☆☆ 🤘
I recently purchased the Jayflex CrossGrips, and so far I’ve been very happy with them. I mainly use them for pull-ups, and they’ve made my workouts more enjoyable and versatile.
I try to do pull-ups 3–4 times a week, and the CrossGrips have been really helpful in keeping me consistent with my routine. They’re easy to use, feel solid, and give me some flexibility with my grip and exercises.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to add some variety to their pull-up workouts.
I love that they created this since I don’t have a gym membership. It’s well made and I’ll be adding it to my lower body routine! I did notice, though, that I need to find something to sit on that will elevate me a little higher so I can get a greater range of motion. Overall, I’m really happy with it!
I ordered my jay flex pull up bars last week and received them a few days later. Great service. Fast shipping and quality equipment.
Ive been using them for 7 straight days and Im starting to feel a difference. Ill be ordering some more accessories for them as well.
I really like them. I bought the bundle and couldn’t be happier. The ez curl bar is perfect, the straight bar has been great and the kettlebell is handy.
The black grips that protect the door jam are coming off and may eventually damage my door. It also pinches my skin if I hold it a certain way attaching it to the door. If they could fix these things it would be perfect
The crossgrips fit just right on my door I have been struggling on the old pull up bar that used to hang on my door frame because it was to long but with the crossgrips I have space and it's easy to fold back up and put away. I RECOMMEND
The jayflex hyperbell straight bar is an amazing product and the originality behind the idea of using your own dumbbells is unparalleled. The bar itself is very sturdy and the 200lbs limit is more than enough weight I'd ever use for it (I'm using Snode AD80s). After a few uses, I assessed the practicality of the product as it pertains and fits into my own workout split.
PROS
1. Rigidity and strength. I must say the bar itself is engineered to last. I'm aware the foam inserts can be replaced after wear and tear (after I found that out it was the final check box for me to purchase). The plastic nuts to tighten it seem to hold up just fine so far (I've attached up to 160lbs thus far). It does make a loud *CLICK* on one of the sides, when initially lifted off the ground with that much weight. I'm hoping it's just a "break in" period and not defected. It seems okay but I will monitor it.
CONS:
2. The rubber grip could probably be replaced altogether by a pattern of knurling instead, and maybe swap the plastic nuts with aluminum. Definitely would have been a 5/5 stars from me with these two adjustments. Another pet peeve that you guys might want to consider on a more "premium model option" of this product (maybe verses the current standard model?) is the option of *swivelling clamp ends" so the low center of gravity can always be swivelling to the ground during a repetition. Now, I personally like the "wonkier* feeling of doing curls and having to lap the entire curve of the dumbbells into one rep (it really slows the rep down and forces you to really work it), but others might not. Find a way to swivel the end clamps; and I think the broader market for this sweet little bar will increase tenfold. Just my humble opinion.
Overall: FANTASTIC PURCHASE for my little indoor office / home gym. Glad I found this and didn't go with some knock off version on Amazon. Thank you!
Love the ease in assembly. Depending on what I want to work on I can easily switch based on me needs. I love that I can do more than just barbells and it has really helped my home workout.
Edit 2: the attachment hook broke and I can no longer safely anchor the tool.
Works well but would be better if came with the attaching clamps and anchor points.
The system is easy to work with and comes with well-built components. I’ve added a lat pull bar and lower pulley system. It breaks up the workout routine having more options.
Great tool to enhance your home gym! Holds up to 200lb very well. I love how simple it is. It has elevated my routines. The material is great and feels firm. No complaints
I live in a 150 year old home, and the door frame is larger than younger homes. I can barely fit my fingers through to grip the bar, and I can’t fit them to do a hammer pull up.
The ab straps are great though.

🌟The Jay Flex Ab Straps have been a game-changer for our gym! All of our trainers, including myself, absolutely love them. We use them almost daily, and the durability and quality of the material are top-notch. Plus, the defined color fits perfectly with our gym’s theme!Thank you, Jay Flex, for creating such a superb product! These straps have become a key addition to our inventory of fitness equipment , helping both our trainers and clients elevate their fitness journeys. We’d love the opportunity to partner with you and showcase your amazing gear even more! Taking fitness to the next level together! 💪
5 star review because I think the concept is awesome, but in the next version of these please make them adjustable for door frame thickness, I have them fully expanded and taped to fit my door frame and it is still loose. The grip material could also be made to be more comfortable. If my door frame was standard size there would be no problems.
I was really hoping to use this with the CORE Fitness Adjustable Dumbells I already have. The website had said it worked with them at the time of purchasing them and I had watched videos of other people using them with it. Unfortunately the handle is JUST barely too big on these dumbells for it to fit. My wife's generic rubber Walmart Hex dumbells fit (like in the picture) but they're kind of loose and move up and down when working out. It works but not as elegantly as I expected. It is well made but a bit short in length.
I really hope Jayflex will consider making different sized clamps for different sized dumbells. It seems like an easy fix since the clamps can be quickly removed from the bar. Then people could choose the clamp that works with their dumbell when purchasing it and more people could buy it. I'm not sure if I'll keep it or go through the trouble of returning it. I dont want to make my simple set up bigger by collecting separate dumbells that fit this bar just to use with it.
